Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Can I take the tickets in digital format?

Yes, no problem. You can bring them in any digital format.

Can you eat inside the Sagrada Familia?

No.

What documentation do I need for access to the monument?

It is essential to carry your identity card or passport, in original format to access to the monument.

Will I have to queue?

No. With your advance ticket you don’t have to queue.

Can I change or cancel my tickets?

Each product has its own policies for changes and cancellations that can be consulted on the product page.

Some establish that once the reservation request has been made, as published on the website and explicitly accepted in several steps during the purchase process, including the last one in which the acceptance of the cancellation policy is marked, neither name, date or time can be changed, nor can the tickets be cancelled, so you are not entitled to any refund. There are no possible exceptions or reasons (COVID, illness, work reasons, trip cancellation, etc…).

Can I take advantage of the right of withdrawal?

No, as stated in Law 3/2014, of March 27, which amends the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16. As indicated in its article 103, regarding the exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

(l) The provision of accommodation services for purposes other than serving as a dwelling, transportation of goods, car rental, food or services related to leisure activities, if the contracts provide for a specific date or period of performance.

Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes. The environment of the Sagrada Familia has different bars and restaurants in its surroundings.

Do the children need a ticket?

Everyone needs a ticket for access regardless of whether or not they pay.

How long in advance do I have to book the tickets?

It is recommended to make the reservation as soon as possible since the tickets are sold out in a short space of time.

Is the visit adapted for people with reduced mobility or in a wheelchair?

The entire monument is accessible to people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs, except for the Towers, when they are open. You have wheelchairs at your disposal.

Disabled people have to go to the access of Carrer de la Marina. Guide dogs are allowed.

Clothing issues

As it is a Christian temple, a series of dress standards must be followed in the Sagrada Familia. See-through clothing, bare shoulders, swimwear, or skirts and pants that do not cover the thigh are not allowed.
